Tempranillo is a black grape variety that is well-known in Spain for its quality. It is dark in color but low in sugar. For this reason, Tempranillo wines are balanced in taste. They are also smooth, and they do not contain high amounts of alcohol or acids.

Boğazkere is an Anatolian grape that dates back to ancient times. Boğazkere is named after its bitter taste. The word itself means "bitter grape". While producing wine, using Boğazkere grapes alone can lead to a very strong and bitter taste. Thus, Boğazkere is usually blended with Öküzgözü grapes.

Narince grape bears similarities with Chardonnay grape. Although wines made with Narince are white, they are nevertheless very heavy-bodied. The acidity of these wines is moderate. It is suitable to keep Narince wines in oak barrels.

Wines made with Emir grapes have a high content of minerals and acids. This light-bodied grape variety with light citrus and white floral aromas gives very good results, especially in the Cappadocia region.

Shiraz is one of the most popular grapes in the world. It has a thick peel and bitter taste. With their spicy flavors, wines made with this grape variety adapt to the fusion cuisine that has become widespread around the world. It can be bottled on its own, but it also gives very nice results when blended with other grapes.

Tempranillo

Tempranillo is a black grape variety that is widely grown in Spain to make full-bodied red wines. Its name is a diminutive of the Spanish "temprano", referring to the fact that it ripens a few weeks earlier than most Spanish red grapes.

Şiraz

Syrah has a very dark peel and it is grown worldwide to produce mainly red wine. In 1999, it was discovered that two grapes from southeastern France, Dureza and Mondeuse Blanche, were parent vines of Syrah. It should not be confused with Petite Syrah, which is a hybrid grape of the Syrah with the Peloursin dating back to 1880s.

Boğazkere

Boğazkere is a black grape variety that is grown around Diyarbakır and Elazığ regions. Boğazkere originated in Diyarbakır province near the Tigris River in the southeastern part of Turkey. It is a dark red and rich grape, and the wine is well structured with aromas of dried fruits and figs.

Kalecik Karası

It is a grape variety that is grown within the borders of Kalecik district of Ankara and it is used in red wine production.

Emir

Emir is a juicy, white grape variety that is grown in Cappadocia region. It is widely used in white wine production. It is widely produced in vineyards around Nevşehir, Kırşehir, Kayseri, and Niğde. It is used in dry winemaking.

Narince

It is a white grape variety grown in Tokat region. Narince, which is used in the production of white wine, has an important place among the grapes of Anatolian origin. It is produced both for eating and for wine production. It is large and oval-shaped, yellow in color with a tint of green.

Grenache

Grenache grape is medium-bodied, moderately acidic, with small bunches and a thin peel, originating in southern France. It gives its best results when grown on dry and stony soils. Grenache wines have sweet spice undertones with aromas of red fruits such as ripe strawberries and raspberries.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc grapes have a green hue. They are highly aromatic, high in minerals and acidity. In cold climates, this grape contains aromas of green fruits and herbs, while in temperate climates it contains aromas such as melon, grass, asparagus, golden strawberries, and grapefruit.

Nero d’Avola

Nero d’Avola is a large, elliptical-shaped Italian variety which has a red colour with purple hues. It has high tannins, high acid, and a strong body. Nero d’Avola wines contain aromas of black cherry, damson plum, licorice, red pepper, tobacco, and violet.

Bornova Misketi

As a result of clone selection process which lasted 10 years, Urla Winery selected two clones one of which is grown in Kavacık, and the other clone is grown in Urla vineyards.

Beyazkere

Urla Winery had a clone selection process for Boğazkere grapes. During this process which lasted 11 years, an albino grape species was found as a result of the studies. It was cultivated and registered as Urla Beyazkere. Because of its thick shell, strong tannins and similar structure, this grape variety is similar to Boğazkere grapes.

Gaydura

Gaydura is a delicate white grape variety with medium-sized bunches, small and elliptical grapes, thick peel and no seeds. It is grown in a small area on the island of Santorini and in Urla Winery vineyards. In their wines, citrus and honey aromas prevail, combined with moderate acidity.

Urla Karası

This ancient and rare grape variety was discovered in the Ukuf region of Urla Peninsula as a result of challenging research efforts. Urla Winery has their own vineyard in the same region. Urla Karası was brought back to the wine world in the early 2000s by Urla Winery. They grew the grape and put it back into production.

Pinot Noir

This grape, which originates from the Bourgogne region of France, is light in color and is quite famous for its use in champagne production. These grapes with low-medium tannins have aromas such as red cherry, strawberry, and raspberry.
