Named after Mead (Honey Mead), which is the first alcoholic beverage produced in history, MMG Winery is known for its "Night Harvests", during which grapes such as Bornova Muscat, Mourvèdre, Cabarnet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Viognier, Black Muscat are picked. All of these grapes are produced on a total of 50 decares of calcareous and rocky lands and harvested at night. MMG Winery produces about 25,000 bottles annually using traditional methods such as gravity transfer and manual pressing while ensuring quality standards. In addition to the tasting room, there is also a bistro style restaurant for 300 people and ŞatoInn Restaurant for 60 people for dinner organizations and special occasions. MMG Winemaking Facilities are located on the route from Urla to Kuşadası-Efes, 49 kilometers away from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport and 12 kilometers away from the center of Urla. The grapes that we grow are fed by the breezes of four large strong winds and they turn into tannic boutique wines with full, persistent, and complex aromas that reflect the characteristic features of the Urla region. If you are tired of the common tastes and ready for new experiences, MMG Winery will help you broaden your horizon!
